To promote (IT) information technology over the country, our Railway minister Mamata Banerjee would launch new express trains after the Commonwealth Games are held.Even (IIT's) Indian Institutes of Technology will be placed in this unit.
"The train, named Technology Express will be launched from Kharagpur (West Bengal) after the Commonwealth Games to raise awareness about information technology in remote areas and small towns," says the minister.
It has 14 coaches, five to sports an six to IT.
